Our Team Captain, Sarah's dad died of Vascular Dementia and complications thereof. With a diagnosis starting in 2017, the battle began. She didn't get to see him for the last months of his life other than ER visits and hospitalizations due to COVID restrictions in skilled nursing facilities. That is why she walks.
