Our dad/grandpa, Jim Alexander, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2020. This is our family's second round with the disease, as we also lost our grandma/great-grandma to the disease several years prior.  In addition, our mom/grandma was diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2022.  We know what the future looks like for our dad and mom, but we'd like to see a brighter future for those who will be diagnosed in the years to come.

We will be walking as a family on October 7 in St. Joseph in honor of our parents and in the hope of raising funds for research and prevention that could help save others from battling these fatal diseases.
