Welcome to our team page for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®! Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. It’s held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team is excited to participate this year. 

Alzheimer's Association will always hold a special place in my heart. They provided personal support for me and my family during the time I cared for my Mom, Mary Ann. There were some extremely dire times managing my Mom's care handling this disease and Alzheimer's was there supporting me all along the way.  

My family received one on one support from a Social Worker.  She helped us set up a care plan. She checked on us frequently. When Mom passed she sent a sympathy card. I knew she really cared. 

When I was at my wits end trying to manage Mom's mood swings and anger directed at me, I called the toll free number and there was a therapist standing by to talk. 

The research they have accomplished is making a difference. I knew I had support from the Alzheimer's Association as I managed Mom's care. I could not have cared for her for 2 years without their support.

I'm also fortunate to have the support of amazing friends who will be walking with me in memory of my Mom. These women have supported me along the way as I managed Mom's care. I am forever thankful. Team Mary Ann is fierce! Just like Mom, in memory of her.
