5.8 Million American's are living with Alzheimer's Disease. Alzheimer's is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. More than 16 million Americans provide unpaid care for those living with Alzheimer and dementia.

I could keep spewing out facts, but  my main fact is Alzheimer's is personal for me. Alzheimer's took my Mom from me and from those who loved her. 

Almost two years ago my Mom lost her battle, but that didn't mean my battle with Alzheimer's ended. Alzheimer's may have taken me away from her and her memories away, but I would never take myself away from my Mom or fighting for her. The advocacy work continues along with raising funds for research, care-giving and caregivers support. I want to see a cure for Alzheimer's. Please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association in my Mom's memory.
