“The reality of this disease is that there is no remission, there is no stopping it, there is no slowing it down, there is no cure and there are no survivors.” – Suzanne Tackett.
In January of 2020, we lost our mom to this horrible disease Seeing her slowly die over the last 13 or so years was devastating to all of us...from her first losing bits of her memories, to not knowing who we were at all, to losing the ability to walk, to losing the ability to swallow and to seeing tears in her eyes in her final hours No one should have to watch their love one go through this long slow death
This is why we participate every year in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year marks our 11th year and the first time we have walked together in person since our mothers passing. It is11th time that we hope and pray a cure is found to put an End to ALZ
We need your help and support in this fight!
