I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions. I'm walking in memory of my mother. By participating in the 2023 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
Mom had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's over 15 years ago. Every day this disease stole just a little bit of her away. It is a cruel and heartless disease and while we may not see a cure in our lifetime, we have to keep the faith that one day a cure will be found. Mom had survived many things in her life, and always with a smile on her face, a kind word on her lips. She lost her battle, but we won't stop fighting! We're all doing a little bit to help a lot of people!
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide. Even a $5.00 donation will help the cause!
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
