Hello! Having lost both of my parents in the last few years, I witnessed first hand the suffering dementia brings. It was sad and painful and now this fundraising feels even more personal to me. I also work in a field where I witness the ravages of Alzheimer's Disease on a daily basis. As I do every Fall, I am walking in two walks here in northern Michigan and hoping that my friends and family will support research for a cure by donating to the cause. I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support. Please help if you can.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
