For the past 17 years I have worked in the Senior Services industry assisting families with setting up home based services and providing appropriate referrals.

During those 17 years I have seen the devastating impact Alzheimer's can have on the person, the family, and the caregivers. However, everything changed when my Mother was diagnosed with dementia. It was terrible to go through for her and our family. That is why I continue to fight against Alzheimer's in hopes of finding a way to slow this disease and hopefully....and eventually a cure for Alzheimer's.
