On April 17th 2024 my fathers long battle with Alzheimers ended. He finally found peace. If you have never had to watch someone you love fade away in front of you then you are blessed. Nothing is worse then the first time they forget where they are going, how to do something they have done a thousand times or the names and faces of those they hold most dear. It is a devastating and heartbreaking disease. This photo is my daddy, my hero. A man that was so brilliant and kind that everyone he met fell in love with him. I can't help him but maybe, just maybe, my participation in the walk will help someone in the future. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.
