Woof! Woof! Greetings from Team Captain Scout! Welcome to Scout's Paws for a Cause team page for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®! We are thrilled to participate for the second year in a row, walking to find a cure for this heartbreaking disease we witness daily at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. It's a ruff journey!
Woof! I love going on walks, and what better way than to stay active in our communities while raising funds! Last year, we surpassed our goal and raised over $2,100.00. This year, we aim to do the same, so please think about joining our team, making a donation, and spreading the word to your friends and family. Even fur babies are welcome to join us!
The walk is the Alzheimer’s Association®'s primary event to raise funds and awareness for their care, support, and research initiatives. Held annually in over 600 communities nationwide, our team is eager to take part this year.
With over 6 million Americans affected by Alzheimer's and more than 11 million caregivers providing unpaid support, we need your assistance to combat this dreadful disease. Your contribution, whether financial or by joining our team, will greatly impact the fight against Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting this cause!
Love and Biscuits!
