Hi there!
Thanks for stopping by! I am participating in my sixth Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Alzheimer’s is an important cause that is near and dear to my heart as a Social Worker dedicated to working with seniors. Everyday I work with patients who have the disease and speak with families who do not always understand the disease process. In August 2020, I became a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) to better serve my patients and help meet their needs. The Walk to End Alzheimer's has become something I look forward to every year in order to not only raise awareness of the disease, but also to fundraise which helps support vital research that may lead to a cure. I appreciate you stopping by my page to learn why I am passionate about the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. The first survivor is out there and your donation helps us get one step closer to finding them!
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
