Dear Friends,

I want to share a story about my parents, Franny and Ronnie. My mom, Franny, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease at the age of 60. Before this diagnosis, she lived a vibrant and full life. As a children's church choir director and an elementary music teacher, she brought joy and inspiration to many young lives. Together with my dad, they raised three boys and found joy in exploring the world, traveling to various corners of the globe and creating beautiful memories.

When Mom’s condition began to progress, my dad’s love for her shone brightly. He dedicated himself to her care at home, showing remarkable strength and devotion. Watching the love of his life slip away day by day was incredibly hard for him, but he remained steadfast. His care for her was a perfect example of God’s unconditional love, as he supported her with patience and compassion through every difficult moment.

Mom has been gone for eight years now, but the love they shared and the sacrifices my dad made for her remain vivid in my heart. In their honor, I am committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research and support.
