I will be walking the Walk to End Alzheimer's again this year in honor of my mother in law who passed away from dementia in 2012. This year, sadly, I am also walking to support my sister in law, Lisa, who has been diagnosed with Young Onset Alzheimer's in January of this year. Lisa has been my little "sister" for the last 45 years, this diagnosis is devastating to our family.
Your support can help in the fight to find a cure as this is becoming too common these days, millions of families are devastated to learn their own diagnosis or that of a loved one. All we can do is try to raise money for more research in finding a cure for this horrible disease. Please join me in this fight if you are able by making a donation or joining our team.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising efforts. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for your support!
