We walk to help reclaim the future for millions.  My mother has been affected by this terrible disease that I truly feel we will have a cure for one day. During her time with this disease, my family has experienced the emotional, financial and physical drain that it places on any family afflicted with it.  The fear for safety, the time commitment, and emotional roller coaster that the disease imparts tears away at the fabric of the family. Not to mention the sea of red tape at the State level if you ever need assistance.  By walking and raising money I hope to make it easier for the next family who is diagnosed and for them to get help and hopefully a cure quicker.
