The story behind the team name is a bit of a joke in the Burns family. My grandma was the serious matriarch of the Burns clan with a strong will and definitive plan. If the Burns family was a company, she would be the role of the "Manager" - and Papa would always defer to "Ask the MGR" to avoid trouble. The strong ladies of the Burns family have been known to act like an "MGR" from time to time, as well, and we figure it's in our genes! But it's a good trait to have, as we get things done - like raising awareness and funds for a good cause.
