MedStar Health Geriatrics & Senior Services will be participating in the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer’s to raise funds for this important cause. The Alzheimer’s Association relies on fundraising and donations to continue important work in Alzheimer’s research, advocacy, and education. This is a cause near and dear to our hearts and supports our mission to serve older adults in Maryland and Washington, D.C. 

Many of our patients and their caregivers are on the receiving end of the support provided by the Alzheimer’s Association. More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million.
