Alzheimer's is a disease that has touched most families, if not all, at least through association. It is a terrible thing to watch someone you love slowly lose their ability to remember and connect to the world around them. I have witnessed this first hand through a number of people I know, but most recently my future Father-in-Law, Eugene Baylor. He lost his battle in July of 2023. It was shocking, and devastating to his family to see the progression of such an awful disease, and how quickly it progressed with him. I also have a good friend who's mother, Deborah Vosters, who passed away just this February after fighting her battle for a number of years. All heartbreaking accounts, and hopefully if we raise enough awareness, and funding we can possible spare some of the victims of this terrible disease from suffering, and possibly prevent the disease it all together. That is why I walk....
