Hi, my name is Bessie.  I am participating in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's to honor my Mother, Dorothy, and so many others that are battling Dementia and all forms of Alzheimer's. Our team name is "Precious Memories" because our Mom has Blessed us with so many "Precious Memories" throughout the years and continues to do so even to this day. We are blessed to have a dedicated team of caretakers. My brother, Gurvis, is the primary caretaker and is assisted by Teresa, who helps out several days a week. In addition to myself, my siblings, Brenda and Jean, we are also assisted by Pam and Rita, as well as several ladies, from Home Instead, which include Colleen, Heather and Rose. Although it is difficult to watch a loved one fight this disease, there is hope for our Mom and all others experiencing the effects of this disease.
