Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

This cause is very near and dear to my heart. My grandmother, Joan suffered from Dementia—she played such a huge part in my upbringing and it was truly an honor to care for her throughout her Dementia journey. Joan’s experience sparked my interest in working with those in need of memory care. I have spent the last 14 years of my career assisting families and individuals impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of Dementia.  Grandma Joan lost her battle in 2019, but she continues to be the driving force behind my passion for this cause. I am proud to be walking in her memory.
