Alzheimer's/dementia is a cause very close to our hearts, as it is for anyone who has cared for a loved one suffering from it. It affects everyone from the person diagnosed with it, to the caregivers, to family and friends. It takes away apart of people, but gives you something new too. 

For our family it has given us lots of simple happiness. We laugh at things that would normally drive us nuts. We practice patience and compassion more. We are aware of all the great things in life and try to cherish them. It isn't all sunshine, but we work hard to support each other and our loved one living with dementia. 

We will plan to walk every year because it is the one thing we can do to help fight the disease. Please consider helping us reach our goal by spreading the word, donating, or joining our team! 

Our goal is to raise $1,000 MORE than what we raised last year! We are looking to raise $5,000 in an effort to help a cause so extra close to our hearts!
