As many of you know, my family has been affected by Alzheimers twice. We lost my father, Donald Emerson, in 2002 to the disease after a 10+ year fight. And then in 2017 we lost my father-in-law, Don Shanbar. Two strong, wonderful men lost to the most destructive of diseases.  My family continues to raise awareness of the disease and we continue to strive for a cure.
