Our mother suffered for years with dementia and with the help of our father, it was some what controlled. He loved and took wonderful care of her and through that, she had some independence. When our dad passed away (three days shy of their sixty-second wedding anniversary) that traumatized her in an incomprehensible way. From then on she struggled and eventually lost her battle with the disease. Our mother was strong, loving, loyal and we are proud to be her children. She will always be loved and missed by family and friends!
