Alzheimer's isn't stopping and neither are we.
I'm fundraising as part of the Walk to End Alzheimer's in honor of my grandmother, Dorothy. She had Alzheimer's for many years, and it was devastating for our family. Nanny, as we called her, was the light of our family - loving, smart, and funny. She loved Frank Sinatra, and sang along with his music until the end. She *adored* her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It's unfair that so much of her time was stolen by Alzheimer's. I fundraise so we can find a cure, so someday other families don't have to go through this.
By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I'm raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease - funds that allow the Alzheimer's Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
This past year alone, we've seen the first drugs approved that actually slow the progression of Alzheimer's. It's a huge innovation, but still only inches closer to a cure.
Families facing Alzheimer's and all other dementia need us - and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or share the link. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for your support!
