I am walking in support of my late husband, Pete.  He was diagnosed in January 2015 and he was able to stay home until March 2017 when unfortunately Pete needed skilled nursing care.  It was so hard to see this disease strip him of everything. I was very blessed that he still knew me. Pete passed away in September, 2017.  That is why I am walking to help the Alzheimer's Association find a cure to end this disease that affects so many people and their loved ones.  Thank you.           Kathy
