Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my page. It means so much to me that you're here to support.
When I started filling this page out, the first question asked who I was honoring. I immediately wrote Nonna, because she's such a big part of my daily life being a caretaker for her. I then quickly thought of my sweet Grampa, who passed away with Alzheimer's years ago, and added his name, too. But as I was about to click submit, the list of people close to me that have Alzheimer's or dementia continued to grow. Unfortunately, I think that's the case for many people. Most of us have watched a loved one suffer from this terrible disease and know how truly heartbreaking it is.
So, I'm walking not only for Nonna, Grampa, Uncle Ricky and my other loved ones, but for everyone that has been impacted in some way. Please join me to walk if you can, we'd love to have you there!
