This wonderful man died August 14, 2024, after more than a decade struggling with Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy ("CAA") resulting in dementia. There is too much incredible about him to fit into this small space. He was brilliant, he was warm, he was charming, he was kind and a wonderful "daddo" and husband. He was a servant at heart. I miss him more than I can express. I was so fortunate to have been married to him for almost 37 years.
Even in his last years, Jim was loved and loved back. So beautiful a person with an ugly disease. We need to continue to work to eradicate the debilitating effects of Alzheimer's/dementia not only on those inflicted but on their families. Won't you please join me in that effort. May you be blessed many times over in giving!
