As most of you know ALZ has taken a toll on our family. Our dad, The Captain, Neil Smith has been struggling with this awful relentless disease for years now. So painful to live through and so painful to watch. Our beautiful aunt, his sister, Eileen Batt, was also taken so young by this devastating diagnosis. We are walking to raise money and awareness for ALZ and hope that someday there will be a treatment or cure. Until then we fight! Please join our team to walk on 10/20/24 at Patriots Place or donate if you can... any amount is beyond appreciated. All goes to research to stop this monster from affecting anymore families and to help families already in the grasp of it. Thanks to all for reading and supporting in anyway possible. Cappy is the MOST giving human most of us have ever known... this is the least we can do for
our guy... and our auntie E and all families afflicted by this awful disease!
Welcome to our team page for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's\302®! Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association\302®. It's held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team is excited to participate this year.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease. You can make an impact with a donation or even joining our team. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Thank you for your support!
