I am walking to honor all those living with Alzheimer's and their families and care partners. In my work as a care manager, I see daily the impact this disease has on people and their families and support systems. I witness joy, fear, sadness, and above all resiliency.  I am honored to volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association as a support group facilitator for those caring for and with someone with Alzheimer's - this is a humbling experience, and I am encouraged by the information, support and caring that my group members exhibit each day.  

In walking today and each year, I support the Alzheimer's Association in continuing to provide a valuable array of education and support to caregivers, as well as funding and advocating for research and development to finally find a cure for this terrible disease. I welcome any donation you are able to make, and promise to continue to do my small part in this big effort!
