In 1996 it came as a shock when my Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. In the years that followed, I struggled as I watched this capable man slowly fade. Today, I walk for him and my dear friend Kirsten who is now facing the challenges of Alzheimer's. I hope that through the Alzheimer's Association we can continue to support the families affected by this condition and seek better answers to the challenges it brings.
