Connie's Legacy was formed to honor Connie Hebert Garaudy, who lost her 2 year battle with Alzheimer's on May 31, 2012. Connie and her late husband, Francis, had 12 children and 21 grandchildren. Connie was always full of life and loved babies and children; she had a special knack that she could calm any crying baby, even if she didn't know them. But sadly, Alzheimer's came along and changed all of that. 

Connie's Legacy is comprised of her family and friends. Our team not only honors my Mom, but everyone we know that had/has Alzheimer's. We pray that a cure will be found soon, so that we can have the first Alzheimer's survivor. Until then, we will keep walking and raising funds for research. Because after all, we ARE Connie's Legacy!
