Team Madison began as a tribute to my aunt, who battled Alzheimers for several years before passing in 2012, just as my father was losing his ability to drive and take care of himself. Four and a half years after his diagnosis, he passed in March, 2015. We lost his sister, Carlene, in 2019. Team Madison also watched as our grandfather, Dewey, and his wife, Velzora, along with Uncle Herbert were taken by the disease.   We walk to honor all of our relatives as well as Dunkie and all the other friends touched by this terrible disease
