My mom, Carol, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's this past year. The journey has been emotional for everyone. Nothing prepares you to watch the person you love slowly slip away. I've come to accept that Mom might eventually forget my name, but we'll make sure she never stops feeling our love for her.
