We started walking for the Alzheimer's walk when my mother in law was diagnosed.  Alzheimer's disease is often referred to as the "long goodbye."  Memories, capabilities,  independence,  are slowly lost for the person with Alzheimer's.  Last December we lost my dear mother in law  and we miss her very  much.   This year we walk in her memory and we walk to help fund the fight against this awful disease.  The Alzheimer's Association also provides resources and information to families coping with Alzheimer's.   Thank you so much from the Genau Gang!
