Dear Friends & Family, 
On August 14, 2007 I lost my sweet dad to this terrible disease. My dad always had a smile, a twinkle in his eye and would reach for my hand when we walked side by side. He taught me to enjoy life to the fullest, be proud to be an Iowan and root for the underdog. I think of him every day and will continue to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for Alzheimer's.

The "Walking in Memory of Lyle" team has participated in the annual Alzheimer's walk since 2004~this is our 20th year!  Team Lyle has walked in Colorado, Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri and California and will continue in this event until there is a cure.

On Saturday, October 19, I'll walk in memory of my dad, my father-in-law Hassan, my uncle Charlie, and the seven million Americans who have this disease. With your help and continued support "Walking in Memory of Lyle" has raised over $37,000 for care, research and awareness. THANK YOU!
