As the youngest of 6, I’ve seen first hand the effects of Alzheimer’s. My dad passed away from it 21 years ago on October 30th. It was difficult to observe the declining path of my father’s journey, as well as the stress it put on our mother.
Every 67 seconds, someone in America develops Alzheimer’s and our healthcare system cannot keep up with the disease. By divine inspiration I work in the senior care industry and I see how hard caregivers are working to keep pace. It’s not enough. Our society needs to prioritize the cure for Alzheimer’s.
This weekend is a great opportunity to show your support. Please join me in donating to the Alzheimer’s Association, or come out and participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Thank you and God bless!
