Walking in memory of Ruey Adams Jr. and Rosetta Adams.

We are walking in memory of a great man who was struck down by this terrible disease.  He fought a long hard fight but it was not a battle that could be won. 

We are walking in memory of a great woman who was a patient, kind and loving caregiver.  She was by his side day after day through his long struggle.  Her fight against this disease was from the outside looking in, but it was also a battle that could not be won.

It is our prayer that someday someone out there will be able to fight this disease and WIN.  We hope to someday see the first survivor of this disease.

Our team continues to walk even after the loss of our father - grandfather - great grandfather.  And we will still continue after the loss of our mother - grandmother - great grandmother.  It is important to us to offer as much help as possible to those who are still struggling and still fighting this disease as well as their caregivers.  We know what a long road they are on. 

Please help us in our fight against Alzheimer's.  We walk for those that no longer can.  We walk to give families hope.   We will all continue to walk toward a world without Alzheimer's disease.  Thank you.
