The Town of Yorktown is a community that cares and is honored to be a part of the Heartland Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Yorktown Cares team is headed up by Yorktown Town Council member, Nanci Sears Perry, who lost her mother to Alzheimer’s in 2022 and Liz Rozelle, the Director of the Yorktown Public Library, who sees the impact of Alzheimer’s on community members and their care givers. Council Member, Marta Quinn is also a Team Captain for Senior Helpers, a company that provides care for elderly clients.

We’d love to have you join the Yorktown Cares team or the Senior Helpers team either in person at the Walk on Saturday, September 28, or through your donation. Together we can help bring about the day when there is a cure for this disease.
