I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's, including my Dad, which is why we are WALKING FOR POPS. The number of people diagnosed with Alzheimer's is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
My dad was diagnosed at with early-onset Alzheimer's at the young age of 60. Now, at almost 68 years old, we continue to battle this life altering disease on a daily basis. He has lost almost all ability to verbally communicate, can no longer be left alone for any period of time, needs help with almost all activities of daily living, and can't follow simple directions. Throughout all of the obstacles brought on by this disease, we will continue to fight for him and others with this devastating illness.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
