Join our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R), the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer's disease. Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs and support to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans. We have changed our team name this year. In previous years we have always been team “Grandpa's Girlsâ€. When we first started walking it was in honor of my grandpa, who passed away from Alzheimer's. Now my mom is in the late stages of Alzheimer's and we want to recognize her as well. We are now team “Faith, Hope & Familyâ€. Our family has discovered it takes lots of faith, lots of hope and lots of family to get through this disease. We keep our faith in God, Hope that there will be a cure and grow together as a family.
