Walk Day Information:
Parking: Parking is available at Waldron Parking Deck (458 E 18th St.) or North Garage (1356 Special Olympics Drive). Parking is $25. Due to multiple events at Soldier Field, pre-pay is not an option this year, but there will be plenty of parking available that morning. For more directions or other ways to get to Soldier Field including other parking locations in that area, please check out Soldier Field's website here. Have your rideshare drop you off at the turnaround area right in front of Soldier Field.
The route is 1.6 miles long this year. The route is paved and allows strollers, wheelchairs and wagons. Dogs are allowed at the walk event but must be on a leash and cannot go into the Soldier Field concourse.

All participants including children need to register and sign the waiver form
Strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, scooters and dogs on a leash are welcome
The Walk route and festivities are outdoors -- please plan accordingly
Donations can be turned in on Walk Day in the 'Registration Tent' or via mobile payment through a QR code and on the app
Be sure to wear purple! Take a selfie or photo of your team and post on social media using #walk2endalz and #ENDALZ
T-Shirts and Champion Swag will all be mailed directly to participants minus the Champions medal. Please note there will be no shirts available for pick up on walk day. If you raised $100 before August 21, you will receive your shirt the week of the Walk. If you raise $100 after August 21, you will receive your t-shirt on a rolling basis starting a few weeks after Walk week. Champions medals can be picked up in the Champions Tent along with getting your photo taken. If you are not attending Walk we will ship your medal to you after Walk day.
Top Team Village: These teams have earned either a table or a table and tent in the VIP Top Team Village on Walk Day!
Become a Grand Champion (raise $1,000) and earn a free parking pass on Walk day. Due to last minute changes at Soldier Field, passes were shipped on September 17 and should arrive before Saturday. Any issues or questions please reach out to Mary DeMars, mcdemars@alz.org.
Become a Champion (raise $500) and pick up your medal in the Champions Club tent on Walk day. Can't attend the Walk event? No worries! We will be happy to drop off your medal or ship your medal to you if you don't live in the Chicagoland area.

The land on which the Walk to End Alzheimer's - Chicago will take place on includes the traditional homelands of the Ho-Chunk, Otoe, Missouria, Iowas, Menominee, Meskwaki, Sauk, Miami, Wea, Piankashaw, Kickapoo, and Illini Confederacy Nations as well as the Concil of the Three Fires: Potawatomi, Ojibwe, and Odawa Nations. By acknowledging the land, we recognize that it holds significance for its original stewards: the Native Nations and peoples of the region.
