The 2024 Walk to End ALZ - Bloomington/Normal will move to the Quad at Heartland Community College this fall and parking will shift slightly to lots Q and N. Please note that Community College Drive may be closed on Walk day due to construction so please utilize Millennium Blvd. to access the parking areas.
The Walk festivities will be located directly across from the parking areas.
Due to the construction on campus the Walk route for the 2024 Walk to End ALZ - Bloomington/Normal has been adjusted to begin on the quad of Heartland Community College, travel down Millennium Blvd and down the Constitution Trail to the Corncrib Stadium. The Walk will return the same route and finish back on the Quad. The route is entirely paved but does have elevation changes. Please contact us ahead of time if you require any assistance. The short route (purple) will be a take walkers on a short loop around campus and back to the festivites area and is roughly half of a mile.

The land on which the Walk to End Alzheimer's - Bloomington/Normal will take place on includes the traditional homelands of the Kickapoo, Peoria, Kaskaskia, Oglala Sioux, and Miami Nations. By acknowledging the land, we recognize that it holds significance for its original stewards: the Native Nations and peoples of the region. We acknowledge the ground on which our Walk to End Alzheimer's will take place on so that all who work and partner with us know that we recognize our responsibilities to the peoples of that land and that we strive to address that history so that it guides our work in the present and the future. The Alzheimer's Association recognizes the importance of remembering which is why we remember and honor the original stewards of the lands we Walk to End Alzheimer's on. If you believe a Nation is missing from this list, please contact Amelia Garza, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, at amgarza@alz.org.
