Purple Posse was originally formed to honor Ruth Aleks, who, along with several members of the extended family, honored and supported Ruth as she lived with Alzheimer's Disease.  The team was later joined by the Baits family in honor with their patriarch, Stephen Baits, who also lived with Alzheimer's Disease.  We now walk to remember those two courageous people and to raised funds to defeat the disease.  

This year's Rockford walk takes place on Thursday, September 24, 2022 at Sportscore One, 1288 Elmwood Road, Rockford, IL.  Registration open at 8:30 am, the pre-walk ceremony begins at 9:30 am, and the easy walk begins at 10:00 am.
