This beautiful lady is my mother. She was called to heaven in March of this year, which was very hard for me to let her go. She had Alzheimer's and for the last 2 years she hasn't known who I was. She remembered my three oldest children, but did not know me. I always hoped that I could have one good day with her where she knew who I was, so I could tell her how much she meant to me. I wanted her to tell me that she loved me and although her mind would forget who I was, her heart will always love me. I did tell her all the time, but not sure she was understanding what I was saying. Until you go through this with your love one you will never know the hurt that the family members of Alzheimer's person goes through.
