Our family has been deeply impacted by Alzheimer's for over 14 years. Bob Parratore has been fighting this disease with incredible strength, but it has been a long and difficult journey. We could not have made it through without the unwavering support of our friends and family-many of whom have also been touched by this devastating disease.
We walk for a cure, together.
In 2019, we made the tough decision to move Dad into a memory care facility. The pandemic in 2020 limited our time with him, and in 2021, a sudden move to a new facility brought additional challenges. Today, in 2024, Dad continues to decline, but he is safe, comfortable, and receiving compassionate care through hospice.
