Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

I was blessed to be my father's caretaker for many years and saw the gradual decline in his mental faculties, but I was lucky enough to see how much he loved my mother!   She was the only person he wanted to see or be with and it was beautiful to see this.  As he declined I was able to see how trapped he was not being able to communicate but he always had a smile and LOVED when we play music or old radio program for him.  It is devastating to families who have to go through this as it really makes you say goodbye in so many ways and on many occasions as they retreat deeper & deeper into themselves until they are no longer there.  We NEED to find a cure to this awful disease so please help me raise funds for this and for all the important work the Alzheimer's Association does!!!!
