I'm walking in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's on September 14, 2024. Our local walk will be held in Manteno, IL and will begin at The Square on Second in the downtown area. I walk in honor of my wife, Michele, who died in December 2020 from Alzheimer's Disease. Recent news stories have talked about the drug Lecanemab being approved by the FDA for use by Alzheimer's patients. This is the first time that a drug meant to slow the progression of the disease has been granted full regulatory approval. Progress is being made, but we still have a long way to go before a cure is found. Please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer's Association to help further the needed research to eliminate this disease that takes a loved one from their family twice. The attached link will take you to my Walk page where your tax-exempt donation will be registered and acknowledged. And come out on the 14th and walk with us! Thank you very much for your help!
