I lost my father to this disease and currently work as Regional Director of Resident Experience for Sinceri Senior Living so I am well aware of the pain and suffering it can cause. Not only to the person with the disease but to the families that surround them. I have been working in this field for over 20 years and I know that we have come a long way in making progress with the medication that can slow the progression down along with the awareness that is brought to all in hopes of better understanding the disease however we have so much further to go. With your help, whether it be participating in the walk or donating, this will allow research to continue in hopes that there will be a cure in the next 20 years.
