I'm walking to rally support for all those that are battling Alzheimer's and those that have lost someone from it's horrible outcomes.  My Father (David) is currently battling Alzheimer's and my Grandfather (Dave) who passed away from complications thereof.  It's horrible to watch the inevitable progress, knowing you can't do anything but watch and wait.

  "I asked your dad if he had a comment on what it is like to not remember things. He said, 'I don't know, cause I still remember things.'

He forgets he forgets. Sometimes he remembers he forgets and then forgets that he remembered he forgets."  

The battle of Alzheimer's creates a false sense of confidence, if any left... at all. Some remember more than others realize.  Some remember only that what is close to them.  All remember the love we have for them, but have trouble showing it, I firmly believe.
