I have been doing this walk for many years now, and probably will continue for many more! We have lost too many people from Alzheimer’s and other related dementia diseases. Now our sister has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or some type of dementia. I would like to say thank you to all of you who have supported me and others every year! Thank you for your continued support for this cause. It’s an awful disease that we have to find a cure for!!!
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
