I have worked in the Senior Living industry for over 20 years.  In that time, I have seen and experienced many heart-melting moments with those who have dementia.  Unfortunately, I have also experienced and witnessed many heart-wrenching situations where a spouse or family members see their loved one change into a different person because of the far-reaching effects of dementia, especially Alzheimer's.

Since Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping, I am not either. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
